Privacy policy

I'm Meyer, and I run Guts Decor from Cairo, Egypt. This page explains, in plain words, what I collect when you order, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. I collect as little as possible.

What I collect

  • From the order form: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, the sword and options you choose, engraving text, notes, and, if you fill them in, a gift recipient's name, an occasion date, a friend's code and how you found me.
  • From the payment page: the receipt screenshot you upload.
  • I don't collect card numbers, ID numbers or passwords, and the site has no accounts or logins.

Why I collect it

  • To make your order, confirm your date and price, and email you about it.
  • To deliver it: the courier gets your name, phone number and address, nothing else.
  • To check your payment, and to honour my guarantee if anything goes wrong.

I never sell your data, and I never use it for anything other than your order.

Where it's kept and who sees it

Your order is saved in a private Google Sheet, and receipt screenshots in a private Google Drive folder, both in my own Google account. Order emails go to my Gmail. Only I can open them. Nothing about you is stored on the website itself.

How long I keep it

I keep your order details for up to 2 years after delivery, so I can honour the guarantee and keep basic business records. After that I delete them. You can ask me to delete them sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. Use the “Email us” button at the bottom of any page, or message me on Instagram @guts_san_store, and include your order code if you have one. I'll reply within 7 days. I handle personal data in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).

Outside services this site uses

  • GitHub Pages hosts the website. Like any web host, it may log basic technical details such as your IP address for security.
  • Google: Google Apps Script receives your order and receipt, Google Sheets and Drive store them, and Gmail sends emails. Gallery photos are shown from Google Drive.
  • Google Fonts provides the lettering, so your browser connects to Google to load it.
  • YouTube plays my talking videos in privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play (only the cover picture may come from YouTube's image server).
  • Instagram links open Instagram, which has its own privacy policy.

Your cart and one reminder

Your cart is kept in your own browser, not on my side. If you type your email at checkout but don't finish, I keep only that email and your cart, and send you one reminder after 24 hours. Then it's deleted, after 7 days at most, or as soon as you order.

Cookies and counting

This site uses no tracking cookies, no analytics service and no ad pixels, so there's no cookie banner. It only counts visits and button taps anonymously (for example "the Gifts page was opened"), with nothing about who you are. Your browser remembers your language choice and your cart on your own device.

Age

This site and my pieces are for adults (18+).

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.

سياسة الخصوصية

أنا ماير، وبدير Guts Decor من القاهرة، مصر. الصفحة دي بتشرح بكلام بسيط أنا باخد إيه من بياناتك لما تطلب، وليه، وتقدر تطلب مني إيه. وبحاول آخد أقل حاجة ممكنة.

بآخد إيه

  • من فورم الطلب: اسمك، إيميلك، رقم موبايلك، عنوان التوصيل، السيف والإضافات اللي اخترتها، نص الحفر، الملاحظات، ولو ملّيتهم: اسم الشخص اللي هتهاديه، ميعاد المناسبة، كود صاحبك، وعرفتني منين.
  • من صفحة الدفع: صورة الإيصال اللي بترفعها.
  • مبآخدش أرقام كروت ولا أرقام بطاقات ولا باسوردات، والموقع مفيهوش حسابات ولا تسجيل دخول.

بآخدها ليه

  • عشان أعمل طلبك، وأأكدلك الميعاد والسعر، وأكلمك على الإيميل بخصوصه.
  • عشان أوصّله: مندوب الشحن بياخد اسمك ورقمك وعنوانك بس.
  • عشان أراجع الدفع، وأنفّذ الضمان لو حصلت أي مشكلة.

عمري ما ببيع بياناتك، ومبستخدمهاش في أي حاجة غير طلبك.

متخزنة فين ومين بيشوفها

طلبك بيتسجل في Google Sheet خاص، وصور الإيصالات في فولدر Google Drive خاص، الاتنين على حساب جوجل بتاعي. وإيميلات الطلبات بتوصل على Gmail بتاعي. محدش يقدر يفتحهم غيري. ومفيش أي بيانات عنك متخزنة على الموقع نفسه.

بحتفظ بيها قد إيه

بحتفظ ببيانات طلبك لحد سنتين بعد التسليم، عشان أقدر أنفّذ الضمان وأحتفظ بسجلات الشغل الأساسية، وبعد كده بمسحها. وتقدر تطلب مني أمسحها قبل كده في أي وقت.

حقوقك

تقدر تطلب تشوف بياناتك أو تصلّحها أو تمسحها. ابعتلي من زرار “راسلنا” تحت في أي صفحة، أو ابعتلي على إنستجرام @guts_san_store، واكتب كود الطلب لو معاك. هرد عليك خلال ٧ أيام. وبتعامل مع البيانات الشخصية حسب قانون حماية البيانات الشخصية المصري (قانون رقم ١٥١ لسنة ٢٠٢٠).

خدمات خارجية الموقع بيستخدمها

  • GitHub Pages هو اللي مستضيف الموقع. وزي أي استضافة، ممكن يسجّل بيانات تقنية بسيطة زي الـ IP عشان الأمان.
  • جوجل: Google Apps Script بيستقبل طلبك والإيصال، وGoogle Sheets وDrive بيخزنوهم، وGmail بيبعت الإيميلات. وصور المعرض بتتعرض من Google Drive.
  • Google Fonts بيوفر الخطوط، فالمتصفح بتاعك بيتصل بجوجل عشان يحمّلها.
  • يوتيوب بيشغّل الفيديوهات اللي بتكلم فيها، بوضع الخصوصية المحسّن. مفيش أي حاجة بتحمّل من يوتيوب غير لما تدوس تشغيل (ما عدا صورة الغلاف ممكن تيجي من سيرفر صور يوتيوب).
  • إنستجرام: اللينكات بتفتح إنستجرام، وليه سياسة خصوصية خاصة بيه.

السلة وتذكير واحد

السلة بتاعتك متخزنة في المتصفح بتاعك، مش عندي. لو كتبت إيميلك وإنت بتكمّل الطلب ومكملتش، بحتفظ بالإيميل والسلة بس، وببعتلك تذكير واحد بعد ٢٤ ساعة. وبعدين بيتمسحوا، بعد ٧ أيام بالكتير، أو أول ما تطلب.

الكوكيز والعدّ

الموقع ده مبيستخدمش كوكيز تتبّع ولا خدمة تحليل ولا بيكسلات إعلانات، عشان كده مفيش بانر كوكيز. هو بس بيعدّ الزيارات والضغطات من غير أسماء (مثلًا "صفحة الهدايا اتفتحت")، ومن غير أي حاجة عنك. والمتصفح بتاعك بيفتكر اللغة والسلة على جهازك.

السن

الموقع والقطع بتاعتي للكبار (+١٨).
